Boris Johnson 'will keep going' after 'tough' by-election results

Boris Johnson has vowed to "reflect on where voters are" after the Conservatives suffered a devastating double by-election defeat, which triggered the resignation of Party Chair Oliver Dowden.

The prime minister admitted the results had been "tough" and blamed the cost-of-living crisis for voters' discontent, saying: "We've got to recognise that there's more that we can do and we certainly will.

We will keep going addressing the concerns of people until we get through this patch." Report by Buseld.
