Minister insists govt can win next election despite Partygate

Chris Philp says he is “absolutely confident” the government “will be re-elected” at the next general election despite further Partygate allegations.

The technology minister insists parties held at Downing Street during Covid lockdowns were investigated “unbelievably thoroughly” by the Metropolitan Police and Sue Gray.
