Sunak 'shocked and appalled' by treatment of Number 10 staff

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has paid tribute to Downing Street security and cleaning staff and said he was "shocked and appalled" over Sue Gray's findings that they were treated poorly during the partygate scandal.

He added "I, as someone who lives in Downing Street, know many of these people; they do a marvellous job and they're marvellous with my kids as well so I'm also very sad to hear about what happened." Report by Buseld.
