Govt says Sue Gray report will 'bring closure' to Partygate

Chief Secretary to the Treasury Simon Clarke says he hopes the release of Sue Gray's report into parties at Downing Street during the coronavirus lockdowns will "bring closure" to the issue.

He says the recent meeting between Boris Johnson and Sue Gray was about its practicalities, and that it would "not be affected politically" by any meeting with the Prime Minister.
