Truss: Do not blame Parliament for MP arrested for rape
Foreign Secretary Liz Truss cautions against blaming "parliamentary culture" for the crimes of an individual, despite conceding there is an "issue" with the culture in Parliament after an MP was arrested on suspicion of rape.
She calls for "further professionalisation" but does not think the further work that needs to be done on that front "excuses" someone from committing a criminal offence.
