Labour: Protocol reforms could be made that do not harm EU

Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Jon Ashworth believes there are reforms which come be made to the Northern Ireland Protocol which do not "threaten" the EU single market.

However, he stresses that entering a "trade war" with the EU during a cost of living crisis is the "last thing" the UK should be doing.
