Govt: Despite council wins, Labour not on path to government
Chairman of the Conservative Party Oliver Dowden argues that Labour is "not on the path to government" despite their victories in the Wandsworth and Barnet council elections.
He says there has been a "long-term trend" in London and that they "unexpectedly" held on to the aforementioned councils when they last went to the polls in 2018.
