PM fails to apologise for Archbishop of Canterbury 'slander'

Prime Minister Boris Johnson fails to make an apology to the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby for saying he had not been critical enough of Vladimir Putin after Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer invites him to apologise for "slandering" the Archbishop.

Johnson says he was "taken aback" and "surprised" Welby criticised the government's recent Rwanda removal policy.
