Labour: Sunak asking public to pay more taxes but not wife

Shadow Attorney General Emily Thornberry labels Rishi Sunak's wife Akshata Murty non-domicile tax status as "peculiar", saying that the Chancellor is asking "ordinary" people to make "sacrifices" but not his wife.

Thornberry adds that she doesn't think it's "right" and is "odd-looking" that Murty lives in a flat funded by the taxpayer without paying the same level of tax.
