Parkland Survivor David Hogg Urges Biden to Address Gun Violence

David Hogg, a survivor of the February 14, 2018, shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, is sending a message to the White House.

The 21-year-old said he's 'disappointed' President Biden hasn't followed through on his promise to tackle gun violence.

'If I could say one thing to the president, itโ€™s that we need you to go out and act right now before the next Parkland happens,' Hogg said in an interview on CNN's 'New Day.'

The Biden administration presented a plan on February 3 to combat gun crime, which includes cracking down on 'the iron pipeline'โ€”the illegal movement of guns from the South to the East Coastโ€”and ghost guns.

President Biden tweeted, 'Today we mourn with the Parkland families whose lives were upended and stand with those working to end the epidemic of gun violence.

Congress must act.'
