New York's 'Little Odessa' abandons Russian identity
Businesses in New York's Russian-speaking community of Brighton Beach known as 'Little Odessa' are removing references to Russia after the invasion of Ukraine.
The area's School of Russian Ballet is removing Russian from its name because it was making people "angry", while a shop formerly called 'Taste of Russia' is now named 'International Food' because including a reference to Russia "wouldn't be the right thing to do".
