Police use water cannon at Brussels protest against Covid rules

Violent clashes broke out between police and people protesting against Covid-19 restrictions in Brussels on Sunday.

Police used teargas and fired water cannon in an effort to disperse protesters.

Authorities said about 50,000 people took part in the demonstration in the Belgium capital, which coincided with similar protests in other European cities.
