Labour: Public act on advice despite ‘shattered’ trust in PM

Shadow Health Secretary Wes Streeting has said he trusts the British public to "do what's necessary" to fight the Omicron Covid wave, despite "shattered" confidence in the prime minister.

"The public are listening to the chief medical officer and the scientific advice … and are making adjustments to their plans so that they can enjoy Christmas," he said.
