Homeless woman wins court case tied to sleeping in California park

The City of Fountain Valley took Nancy Wood to trial on a misdemeanor charge because, it said, it worried it would lose the ability to enforce park closure laws.

Her defense successfully argued other places she could’ve gone were more dangerous.
