Van-Tam: Covid booster programme to go 'full speed ahead'
Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England Professor Jonathan Van-Tam says the advice on the so-called "Covid booster programme" has now gone to ministers.
Subject to Cabinet approval, the programme will go "full speed" ahead, offering an additional dose of the coronavirus vaccine before winter to the most vulnerable people.
