Melissa Stockwell is an American two-time Paralympic triathlete, swimmer and former U.S. Army officer.

Stockwell lost her left leg when a roadside bomb exploded when she was leading a convoy in Baghdad.

She discusses her preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics with CNN’s Selina Wang.
