Investigators probing Tesla autopilot crashes

The NHTSA is investigating Tesla’s ‘Autopilot’ crashes.

Former Navy fighter pilot and Duke University professor Missy Cummings attributes them to “boredom and our inability to have sustained attention” and says manufacturers should do away with the term “hands-free.”
