Resting security guard shocked as car smashes into nearby fence in India

A security guard sitting down outside a jewellery shop in Solapur, western India, was shocked after a speeding car slammed into a nearby fence.

A security guard sitting down outside a jewellery shop in Solapur, western India, was shocked after a speeding car slammed into a nearby fence.

The guard jumped out of his chair after the vehicle collided with the fence just a few metres in front of him.

Pratish Gawde, 30, who was driving the car was thrown out of the vehicle, and a portion of the gate fell on him.

His friend Amit Khandekar, 29, was stuck inside the car.

According to police, both men were taken to hospital where they are recovering.
