Government looking at self-isolation approach after NHS Covid app alerts jump more than 60%

Chancellor Rishi Sunak said the Health Secretary is looking at an “appropriate, balanced and proportionate” approach for the app after the number of exposure alerts sent to users of the NHS Covid-19 app in England has risen by more than 60%.
