PM denies UK-Russia relations at ‘historic low’

Boris Johnson has denied that relations between the UK and Russia have reached an “historic low”, after claims a Russian patrol boat fired shots at a Royal Navy vessel.

The prime minister said it was “wholly appropriate” for the British warship to use “international” waters to travel Ukraine to Georgia on Wednesday.
