The video, filmed in Wuqia County in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on May 19, shows police officers lead over 100 vehicles to move forward slowly in the strong sandstorm as the visibility was less than 5 metres.

According to reports, the police officers stood in the sandstorm to persuade the oncoming vehicles to go back and rescue any stranded vehicles.
