Police kept strict surveillance and kept a check over vehicular movement amid lockdown in Karnataka's Shivamogga.

They also did baton lathi-charge on lockdown violators.

The lockdown has been imposed in the state due to surge in COVID cases and will remain in force in the state till May 24.
