'Attar' sales boost up in Srinagar during 'Ramadan'

The holy month of 'Ramadan' is going on in the country and during this month, people prefer non-alcoholic traditional perfumes, 'attar'.

Hence, demand of these perfumes has increased in Srinagar.

'Attar' perfumes is made by natural flowers after processing them for months and are available in various fragrances including 'gulab', 'chameli', 'Nargis', musk, and 'kesar'.

The business of 'attar' perfumes also blooms during 'Ramadan' due to increase in demands.

'Ramadan' is a month-long Muslim festival and is celebrated by fasting and devoting to Allah.
