The video, filmed in the city of Wenshan in Yunnan Province on April 28, shows deep water with ice on the surface flowing along the streets, submerging the vehicles.

Several vehicles and pedestrians got trapped in the deep floodwater and firefighters used a boat to rescue them.

Local departments launched emergency plans to clear up the floodwater and the loss is being counted, reports said.
