Indian Navy deploys INS Nireekshak to search for missing fishermen in New Mangalore

The Indian Navy deployed INS Nireekshak underwater at off the coast of New Mangalore on Apr 16.

The specialised Diving Support Vessel has been deployed to search and rescue missing fishermen.

The ship was able to recover three bodies the same day it got deployed and handed them over to local authorities at New Mangalore on Apr 17.

INS Nireekshak has continued to search remaining fishermen.
