No shortage of COVID beds in Karnataka: Deputy CM

Speaking on the COVID situation in the state, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr Ashwathnarayan CN on April 12 said that all required medical treatment is being addressed very strongly in the state.

He added that a good number of tests are also being done in the state and there is no shortage of beds.

"Required medical treatment is being addressed very strongly.

People in home isolation have been provided with the required drugs and pulse oximetry.

A good number of tests are being done and beds are available as well." "Only few subjects' exams are left, conducting them online is a challenge.

This academic year has already been postponed by 3-4 months.

Ensuring students' safety, exams will be conducted with adequate COVID-19 measures," he added.
