Eagles win

Valparaiso college football at morehead state this afternoon...the eagles continuing their seven-game spring schedule...hosting valparaiso.

Then it's the eagle defense's turn...valpo qb chris duncan rolls right...throws into traffic...and it's intercepted...defens ive back brandon barbee runs out of the crowd...and he's got clear sailing to pay dirt...scoring play covers 47 yards...14-zip eagles late in the first quarter thanks to barbee's pick six early in the second...eagles deep in the red zone...it's pappas again...this time from one yard out...he goes in standing for the score...make it 21 to 0 morehead state... crusaders made a game of it but the eagles narrowly escape with the win..

Eagles get to 3 and 3 ahead of next week's season finale when the butler bulldogs visit for a 4 p-m kickoff.
