Financial schemes awareness camp for handloom weavers held in Srinagar

To promote the handicraft and handloom weavers in the Valley, awareness camp was organized in Srinagar.

Organized by the Industrial Co-operative Society (INDUSCOS) wing of the Department of Handicrafts and Handloom, Kashmir, the camp aimed to raise awareness of the various financial schemes provided by the government.

"We have a rich cultural history.

Programs like these are very important.

The government should organize more programs like in the Valley," said an artisan, Abdul Wahid Dar.
