Watch: Deer rescued from well in Jharkhand; released into the wild

A deer had fallen into a well in Bagoda road in Jharkhand’s Lohardaga.

Villagers alerted forest officials after the deer was spotted inside the well.

Forest department officials rushed to rescue the wild animal from the well.

It was a challenging rescue operation for the forest department officials as the deer weighed around 40 kgs.

Sources said locals assisted the forest officials in the rescue operation.

Later, the forest department officials released the animal into the wild.
