A serpent expert rescued a Russell's Viper from a university campus in central India's Madhya Pradesh on March 19.
The incident took place in the Dr. Harisingh Gour University region of Sagar.
The snake was spotted in Quarter-C77 of the university, prompting the staff to call snake expert Akeel Baba.
Footage shows Baba trying to poke the snake out of its hiding spot in a clearing.
Baba uses a stick-like object to draw the reptile out.
Following this, the venomous snake hurriedly slithers underneath a wooden log.
Baba kicks the log over and exposes the snake before catching it with a stick and then grabbing it by its neck.
