International Women's Day: Pink Marathon held to promote fitness in Budgam

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the District legal services Authority in Budgam organized 'Pink Marathon' on March 8.

A large number of female students from various schools took part in the marathon.

The run was organised under the theme "I run for myself".

International Women's Day is observed on March 08 to celebrate women the rights and achievements of women.

"I request all the parents to let their children study and not just be confined with home activities.

Some parents are not sending children to school.

So I want to request all the parents to educate them as the government also initiates 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao', which is very important", said a participant.
