Ayesha suicide case: Muslim Community in Agra runs anti-dowry campaign

After the suicide of a 23-year-old woman Ayesha, who jumped into a river in Ahmedabad after recording a video, some people of Muslim Community in Agra decided not to take dowry.

They also started an anti-dowry campaign and distributed pamphlet.

On February 25, 23-year-old Ayesha died by suicide by jumping into the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad allegedly over dowry harassment.
