Home Minister Amit Shah launched door to door campaign in Kanyakumari during his one day visit to Tamil Nadu.
He distributed pamphlets to the houses near Suchindram temple after offering his prayer in the temple.
The state will face assembly elections and Kanyakumari constituency Lok Sabha bypoll on April 6th.
