Anonymous accounts on social media should be banned, pleads Victims' Commissioner

Anonymous accounts should not be allowed to exist on social media platforms, the Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales has said.Dame Vera Baird QC said tech behemoths such as Twitter and Facebook should not allow people to sign up without providing accurate identifiable information, amid concerns over the impact of abuse known as “trolling” on the internet.
