Ahmed Zaki Yamani, former Saudi oil minister, dies at 90

Yamani spoke to CNN’s John Defterios in 2010 about the 1973 oil embargo saying, it “was meant, and I was behind it, not to hurt the economy, just to attract the international public opinion that [there] is a problem between the Palestinians and the Israelis.”
