A plane hit an electric pole at Vijayawada international airport.

The Air India express flight hit a lamp-post after landing at airport.

Airport official said passengers felt a jolt upon the collision.

All 64 passengers and crew members were reportedly safe.

The flight was headed to Tiruchirappalli from Doha via Vijayawada.

An Air India express spokesperson called it a 'minor accident'.

Airport authorities ordered inquiry as per protocol.
