Meanwhile, her party suffered another blow ahead of Assembly elections.
Dipak Haldar, a two-time MLA from Diamond Harbour constituency, quit the Trinamool Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on February 2.
Just days earlier, another rebel group from the TMC had defected to the BJP.
