Indian Army chopper crashes in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua, 1 pilot dead

A helicopter force-lands in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district.

The incident occurred in Lakhanpur area on January 25.

One of the two pilots injured in the chopper crash succumbed to injuries.

Speaking to media, Deputy Commissioner of Kathua, OP Bhagat said, "Indian Army's Dhruv chopper crashed in Lakhanpur area of Kathua at about 07:15 pm today (January 25)." "Two pilots of the chopper were reportedly injured and are being treated in a hospital," he added.

According to PRO Defence of Jammu, one of the two pilots injured in the chopper crash in Kathua succumbed to injuries today.
