Missing agriculture officer found dead in Patna

A missing agriculture officer, Ajay Kumar, was found dead in Patna's Sahebnagar on January 24.

The Prima facie probe revealed that he attacked with a shovel.

According to police, it was a planned murder.

Probe reveals that the main accused attacked the officer with a shovel on Jan 18 and later tried to dispose of the body.

It was a planned incident," said City SP Jitendra Kumar.

BJP MP from Pataliputra Ram Kripal Yadav expressed his condolences over the killing of the agriculture officer in his constituency and demanded strict action against the perpetrators.

"I am saddened to know that an agriculture officer was killed in my parliamentary constituency.

I extend my condolences to his family.

I demand that the administration take strict action against the accused," said Yadav.
