23-year-old artist on mission to revive Kashmiri folk music

A 23-year-old singer, hailing from Singhpora town of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla, has made his mission to revive Kashmiri folk music.

The Kashmiri folk music speaks volume of its diverse and rich culture shared by the young artist Adil Manzoor.

He is striving to revive the rich folk culture and music of Kashmir.

Manzoor discovered his interest at a very early age.

He started his journey in Kashmiri folk music under his father's guidance.

Manzoor has come a long way in the world of music and has achieved a commendable stature.

Amid COVID-19, he missed a foreign trip to perform, but in 2021 Adil is going to the United States of America to exhibit the rich Kashmiri folk music.

Adil is on YouTube, with over a lakh subscribers, helping budding singers to adapt the skills.
