Food subsidy at Parliament canteen completely removed: LS Speaker

Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla on January 19 informed that the Budget Session will commence from Jan 29 amid COVID-19 scare.

He said, "Rajya Sabha will sit from 9am to 2pm and Lok Sabha will sit be from 4 pm to 9 pm".

"Food subsidy at Parliament canteen has been completely removed: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla," he added.

Zero Hour and Question Hour will be held.

MPs have been requested to undergo RT-PCR test, he informed.
