Lewis: ‘Too early’ for decision on Universal Credit uplift

Cabinet minister Brandon Lewis says it is “too early” to make a decision on the extension of the £20-a-week Universal Credit uplift.

It comes after Number 10 told Conservative MPs to abstain on a non-binding vote in the Commons on Monday evening to extend the uplift.
