One-Stop Center opens in Srinagar to help women in distress

'Sakhi', a One-Stop Center to help women in distress, has been set up in Bemina area of Srinagar.

An initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Development in association with district administration, the centre opened on January 18.

One-Stop Center has integrated many helpline numbers including 181.

The main motive of the OSC is to provide integrated assistance to women affected by violence.

The One-Stop Center is completely union government sponsored scheme under Nirbhaya fund.
