Vaccine rollout extends to the over-70s

Vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi says that the over-70s and clinically extremely vulnerable will now start to receive invitations for the coronavirus vaccine.

Those in the first priority group who haven't been contacted yet will still remain the priority but it will allow the second priority group to also start receiving their jabs this week, particularly in areas where most of the over-80s have been vaccinated.
