We miss British humour in European Parliament, says German MEP

European Parliament debates are duller without the British as fewer nativeEnglish speakers mean exchanges lack humour, irony and sarcasm, an MEP hascomplained.

German politician David McAllister said that in the almost yearsince Britain formally left the European Union, he and his colleagues havemissed the British command of the language.
