'Those who doubt our scientists can leave India': BJP MLA Sangeet Som

BJP MLA Sangeet Som said that people who don't trust the scientists can leave the country.

Som defended the provocative remarks he allegedly made against vaccine critics.

"People who don't trust our scientists, govt, Army and police should leave the country.

If they trust Pakistan, they should go there," he said.

"Scientists of our country make medicines, they don't hurt anyone's sentiments.

So people who have double-standards and trust Pakistan can go there," the BJP MLA added.

On Tuesday, Som had reportedly said 'some Muslims' did not trust the country's scientists.

Som had made the provocative remarks apparently over opposition to covid-19 vaccine.
