Labour calls for 'urgent review' over checks on UK arrivals

Labour shadow home secretary Nick Thomas-Symonds has written to Priti Patel calling for an "urgent review and improvement plan" as he raised concerns over checks on arrivals coming into the UK who are meant to be quarantining.

Speaking on Wednesday morning, Mr Thomas-Symonds said, "the situation with protective measures at the border has been, I'm sad to say, a tale of incompetence from start to finish." Report by Thomasl.
