Forest dept rescues elephant from well in Kerala

An elephant which fell into a well in Kerala's Kozhikode was rescued by digging a canal parallel to the well using excavators.

The forest department officials with the help of locals carried out the operation.

The incident happened in Anakampoil area on Jan 01
