Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2021: 'Saints not satisfied with preparation,' says Akhara Parishad Chief

Speaking on the preparation for Kumbh 2021 in Haridwar, Akhara Parishad Chief Mahant Narendra Giri on December 26 said that in a meeting all saints have decided that they are not satisfied with the state government's preparation for Kumbh.

He said, "Preparation for Kumbh 2021 has not started yet and we aren't satisfied.

We've given a memorandum to Mela Adhikari to organise the fair.

I've also invited Uttarakhand CM and other officials to inspect the preparation on January 1."
