Gujarat: At least two killed, one injured in gas pipeline blast in Gandhinagar

At least two people were killed and one was injured after two houses collapsed in Gujarat.

Police said the incident occurred following a powerful explosion in Gandhinagar's Kalol.

Relief and rescue operations started soon after the mishap took place.

As per the preliminary probe, cooking gas leaked from a pipeline at a society in Panchvati.

This gas which accumulated in one of the houses caused the explosion around 7:30 am.

Earlier, it was reported that the pipeline belongs to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.

However, ONGC has cleared that the gas pipeline does not belong to them.
